I’ve got to hand it to the Herald… ever since we started Red’s Army… they’ve had the better coverage of this team than any other paper around. They’re definitely not disappointing during this stretch in Italy… where they’ve given us some GREAT pictures capturing these Celtics as regular guys. This picture is so good… it almost looks staged. It’s Ray Allen… trying to park his little scooter somewhere in Italy… and getting a very fatherly scolding.
I mean… look at Ray’s face! Does that look like the face of a gazillionaire future hall of famer? It looks like the cop told him he couldn’t have ice cream until he finishes his broccoli.
Also from the Herald: Paul Pierce says the C’s should extend Tony Allen… like now. The starters are back on track… after a little divine intervention. Big Baby says he wishes we could see the Vatican. The Globe tells us that not everyone is having fun in Italy. Also, Scott Pollard is coming home early to get his ankle checked. Celtics.com has some great pictures too. I wish there was a better shot of Leon Powe in that Gladiator helmet. I mean… how perfect would that be? Peter Stringer says Scal is loving Italy more than anyone (I’ll make the joke for you: “Great…maybe he can go play there”)
He is wearing a helmet but aren’t you worried about Ray on the scooter? It’s not the safest mode of transportation.

The pictures just keep getting better and better. Ray Allen’s face may be the greatest thing I’ve ever seen.
