After a day off to “recover” from a trip to Europe… the Celtics get back to work today in Waltham. The Globe picked up on what we’ve been talking about… Kendrick Perkins is enjoying his role on the team so far. Steve Bulpett goes over some of the revelations from the trip. Here it is in a nutshell: The C’s are good:
Doc Rivers: I’ve had so many young teams over the last few (years), but with this group you see just how quickly you can do things and put things in. The biggest thing also is their focus in shootarounds. You don’t have to blow your whistle 15 times during shoot-arounds and say, ‘Hey, young guy, listen. Pay attention. Hey, listen.’ I don’t think I’ve blown it once, because they’re into the game plans. They want to know what we’re doing. They want to make sure they’ve got it right. That’s nice.
