Funny story in light of the Herald announcing what towns KG and Ray Allen have chosen as their homes: It comes to me from a neighbor of Ray’s.
So Ray’s family is moving into his new house when a woman who might have been his fiancee’s mother was out in the yard. Another neighbor approaches her and strikes up a converstation. The neighbor is told “oh… Ray Allen is moving in”… to which the neighbor replies…
“Who?”
That reaction must have been music to Ray’s ears. The fact is… Ray is just another rich guy in Wellesley. That’s perfect for him. And KG moving to Concord puts him half an hour into the woods where he and his wife can live in quiet awesomeness. Although I assume his house will be easy to find. It will be the one with a single ray of sun shining on it during a cloudy day.
