The Knicks should thank Nate Robinson.
That B.S. 3 from half court gave the Knicks 59 points… one more than their worst ever performance in the shot clock era. But who are we kidding? We all know Rajon Rondo could have just put up a shot that bounced off the rim and ran out the clock on a 104-56 win. Don’t give the Knicks credit for avoiding historical crappiness… deride them for being suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked. Go ahead… point and laugh… they deserve it.
They have the highest payroll in the NBA… not that they deserve it. Blame that one on the two most incompetent people in all of sports: Isiah Thomas and James Dolan. Zeke is like one of those teenaged a-holes on “My Super Sweet 16″… and Dolan is the bigger a-hole parent who gives the kid a blank check and an American Express Black card. And what do they get for their money? A bunch of pouting quitters who don’t have the personal pride to at least try not to embarrass themselves.
Yeah… they hate their coach. I do to. Maybe they quit on national TV to embarrass the Knicks into firing him. Fine.. but who’ll coach them next? Some softie the players can walk all over… or some hard-ass who’ll get everyone pissed off at him? The Knicks are screwed… and we saw it on full display last night.
The Celtics, however, are in a good position. All of the starters were gone by the fourth quarter… Kevin Garnett was making fun of Craig Sager’s suit… and Big Baby is showing serious signs of being THE steal of the draft. Although Chuck is right… can that guy dunk… or his he too… um… big boned? I think the C’s set themselves up for a win that’s a little more comfortable relying on DWade missing a last second shot.

That was a sad game. The knicks should be ashamed of themselves and Q-Rich needs to never open his mouth again. Ugh! They are making New York look bad. The whole organization needs new faces. They need to replace Dolan, Thomas and Marbury.
