Come Get Some LeBron

The Celtics are in a no-win situation with the media today.  If LeBron doesn’t play and they win:  “Well… they didn’t have LeBron.”  If he doesn’t play and they lose:  “UH OH… what’s wrong in Celtics-land?”  If he DOES play and the Celtics win:  “LeBron wasn’t 100%”… and if he plays and we lose:  “Does Cleveland have Boston’s number?”

So there you go… tomorrow’s story lines today.  And I’m sure some of the lazy writers in town already have their stories outlined and they’ll just cram in a few details about what happened…. and bingo… you’ve got a just-add-water piece ready go.

Personally… I want LeBron in there and playing at his best.  When I get my payback, I want no excuses.  It’s like when the Ukranian mafia kidnapped my daughter… I didn’t use any guns.  I killed them all with my bare hands… or by riding a motorcyle into their low-flying helicopter and saying something like “Yippe ki-yay motherf……”

Sorry… I fell asleep watching Die Hard last night.
