Our enforcer, the meanest dude on the team was injured during a bizarre encounter Monday night. Here’s how it went down:
“Man, that’s a weird story,” Perkins said. “It happened last night. Actually, crazy story man, my bed actually fell apart … foot was under there, it fell on my big toe. I thought it was broke[n] but it’s not broke[n], though. It’s swollen. It hurts.”
Perkins went on to explain, “I was asleep … I guess whoever put my bed together didn’t put it together right when I moved, so one side of my bed fell. My bed was tilted, so I got out of my bed to go push down on the other side. And when I was about getting ready to push down on the other side, the headboard started coming in. So I tried to push the headboard back so it wouldn’t fall over. My foot was under the bed and the other side of the bed fell on my foot.”
Our favorite sportsgal Jess Camerato says X-rays were negative but Perk wore a boot on his right foot during practice today. He did not participate. Perk’s status is uncertain for Wed. game with Sacramento.
That’s bullshit. Perk was railing some chick and broke the bed, and when he went to fix it, he injured his toe. Props to Perk for breaking his bed that way and for keeping his alibi G-rated.
