It’s party time at the Garden when Gino comes out to dance. I know it. You know it… and because he’s been spending so much time on the bench lately…. Scot Pollard knows it:
“You know what? I gladly defer to Gino because that guy is awesome,” said Pollard. “He is one of the greatest things I’ve ever experienced in my life. And I mean that in a completely heterosexual way.”
That’s so sweet. I hope Scot has a good view of the vicious beating we’re about to inflict on the Sacto Kings. The Celtics are undefeated at home… Sacramento is oh-for-the-road. Which means things are looking good for the Celtics to top the 1984-85 C’s for the best home start in team history.
Let me reiterate this.
This team… that we’re watching… with our own two eyes (or one… if you’re, say, a pirate…. or Sammy Davis, Jr. or something)… will open the season stronger than the 1984-1985 defending champion team. This team of KG, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, et. al….. will surpass Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, et. al.
No… it doesn’t make this team better… I just think it’s something when those teams get wiped off the books. It’s like this year’s Patriots obliterating the greats of the NFL past… it’s just awesome in every way*

*blatant cheap shot at Chuck.
I also have to admit my love for Gino.. Its almost like a man crush… I can’t get enough of him!! I wish I could attend all the home games to see Gino on the score board during the Celtics ass whippings!!
And thats also in a competely Heterosexual way!
I admire the Patriots accomplishment this season. In a completely cheatin’, HGH kind of way.
I love Gino he is the man. For the first like 5 home games I would start a “WE WANT GINO” chant and get told to shit up by people around except for the other 10 people chanting. Nobody knew who Gino was. Then he comes on and everyone looks at me and laughs and cheers.
Now they are starting to know who Gino is. ;)
Aw Chuck… so bitter.
Sorry. Just can’t turn the blind eye like you can. You hate Barry Bonds yet love Bill Belichick. You rip Shawn Merriman but love Rodney Harrison. No difference. All a bunch of hypocrits. Go Jets……
How are Bonds and Belichick the same? Come on.
I don’t hate Bonds. He did what everyone else was doing in the sport. Nobody gives a shit about the pitcher he hit his record breaking home run against that did steroid but because he holds a record now everyone cares.
If baseball didn’t turn the blind eye because people were starting to watch baseball again because of all the homeruns and fastballs then maybe we wouldn’t have this problem. I blame the MLB not the players.
