I forgot how much I loved Delonte West… until seeing him last nght:

Seattle’s not exactly the place to for a young city kid. He needs more action.
He can play point, and I have no problem with the ball in his hands in the final two minutes.
The only problem with Delonte is injuries. Again, he was limited last night and so far this season by plantar fasciitis. Also, he’s not a starter on a good team, and he’s not a point guard on a good team. He’s a 2nd or 3rd guy off the bench. But once he finds his niche on a good team, he’ll stick around for a while, and be good for a few laughs along the way.
I’d trade Suckabrine and Powe for Delonte in a heartbeat.
So would everybody except for the Sonics.
