KG Rules

When it mattered most, Kevin Garnett delivered. The Celtics blew a 20-pt first half lead and found themselves down by 3 points to the Rockets with about 6 minutes to go in the game (For some reason, they forgot to defend the pick-and-roll). It was at that point, Garnett decided the Celtics were not going to lose. He scored 11 of his game high 26 pts over the final stretch, while playing solid defense on Yao Ming. Coming out of one timeout, he ordered the crowd to their feet and they delivered the noise. It was a spectacle.

I cannot post without mentioning Scot Pollard. The big man (10 pts, 5 reb) had his best game as a member of the Celtics. While it paled in comparison to KG’s performance, it deserves some recognition.
