So Rajon Rondo made the following statement in his blog the other day:
I have some bad news….I probably won’t be gambling as much with my teammates anymore….I lost a lot of money a few days ago and I’m still kind of sick behind it. Well…I may still gamble, but I may not go overboard like I did…haha.
It was in a post called “Day To Day”.
But if you go there now… that little passage is gone.
How much do you guys wanna bet that David Stern… or one of his minions… got to Rondo and said “ix-nay on the ambling-gay.”
Heh heh… gay.
What’s wrong with a little gambling? These guys work their asses off for most of the year and they can’t do drugs, they probably can’t get shitfaced too often, they can’t drive around with handguns at 3:00 in the morning, Magic took the fun out banging groupies on a nightly basis, so what else is left? They’re young, highly-paid males–we’d all be doing the same thing if we were in their shoes.
Are you kidding Bill? I do the same thing and I’m NOT in their shoes!
If I was an NBA player, I’d need a second job to cover my gambling debts.
“Why isn’t Karalis in practice?”
“He’s bagging today at Stop & Shop”

I don’t think Stern about this until the matter had already been taken care of. I’m pretty sure his people are just told to make sure no NBA player is discussing how much he gambles.
More importantly…. who took the money off him. If it was last year I would say Gomes in a heartbeat but I bet it was a combination of Scal and Ray that did him in.
I’m betting KG…. he probably hates to lose at anything. Or maybe Pierce.
