Too many guys were giving the “oh it happens” line in postgame interviews last night. That’s for you readers to say… and for brain dead bloggers like me to write. I mean… it’s true… those kinds of crappy games happen. I’m OK with the loss. As I mentioned in previous comments, Phoenix lost to Minnesota… so… whatever. Good teams lose to bad teams every once in a while. I just think the players need to be a little more pissed at themselves for letting it happen. As always, Kendrick Perkins understands.
“It just kind of hurts to lose at home, especially to teams you know you’re supposed to beat. We underestimated guys. Everybody’s in the NBA for a reason. I thought we didn’t respect a lot of guys tonight. We tried to turn it up at the end, but once a team has their momentum going it’s kind of hard to shut them down.”
That’s all I’m asking for. Admit to me that you didn’t respect the ‘Cats. I didn’t respect them either. Then again, I don’t respect anyone… except for Rowdy Roddy Piper. That guy was awesome. Oh… Oh… and the Thundercats. Especially Cheetara. I “respected” her a lot in my early teenage years.

“They Live” best movie of the 80’s?
What’s so stupid about them underestimating the Bobcats is that they barely beat them the 1st time. Why would they think it would be easy, especially with Allen and Davis out?
I’m a fan of “Better Off Dead” for best 80’s movie. I feel its highly underrated.
Jon… I get what you’re saying. It’s almost like they should have seen this as a “revenge” game too… just to prove that the first game was no fluke. Now the next time the C’s play Charlotte, we have to ask the question “Do the Bobcats have the C’s number?”
