Three days after John and I began wondering if Doc Rivers should demote Perkins to the bench and start Glen Davis, Kendrick absolutely destroys the Knicks. How does 24 pts, 8 rebounds and 2 steals suit you? Rondo also played, and well I might add (14 pts, 5-9 FG, 4 stls). And Paul Pierce and Quentin Richardson were ejected in the 3rd quarter for jawin’ at one another. The only bad thing about this game was neither of us saw it (I had to work, John was sleeping off the 6 Mimosos he downed this morning).

too bad you guys missed it. this game was all us from the start. they couldnt stop perk early he had 20 half way through the second quarter and they werent all dunks!! he actually kept the ball above his waste and looked confident on every shot. it was great to watch. pierce was unselfish and could have easily taken 15 shots by the time he was ejected instead he only had 9 with 7 dimes! and powe got some more burn… i hope to go he keeps gettin 15-20 minutes a game from here on out!! LETS GO C’S!!
Who was the guy wearing Celtics’ #43 today? LOL! Perkins looked new and he played wisely. He kept the ball above his waist… Also, he made a couple of jumpers and free throws. Wow!!! …Great game Mr. Kendrick Perkins.

In the post game interview Greg had with Perkins. Did Perkins called Garnett his captain? Did Perkins slip up?Making Garnett captain or co-captain during Kevin first season would really be a slap in PP’s face after 10 loyal years…. Maybe it was my imagination…..
I did watch the first half… then I was out. I assumed it was safe and the 2nd half would be more of the same. I’ll watch the 2nd half in a rebroadcast or recording to see what the hell happened to Pierce.
