Pardon Celtics fans if they watch tonight’s game against the Clippers with one of those wide-eyed, deep-sighing, chin resting on the back of your hands type of gaze (you know… like the one Chuck gives Zach Efron). All we’ve been talking about lately is ways to get the Alien in here to back up Rajon Rondo… we all make it seem like this thing is imminent… when its really not.
Why would the Clips be in any hurry to buy Sam out when they could just wait for a PG hungry team to maybe give up a player or draft pick for him? (because they suck, John, that’s why).
And you know what’s going to really make this suck? I mean like ‘Randy Couture tagging you in the groin
suck’? The fact that you know Sam knows we want him. And you know Sam would love to be here. And you know Sam’s going to take this opportunity to show us all that we could really use him by having his best game of the season tonight. Maybe he’ll even break out the “I’ve got big balls” dance for us. What would suck even more is if he does it in a Clipper win…. the night after a key Rajon Rondo turnover hurt our chances of beating Cleveland.
