You have good taste little girl. The Celtics finally grabbed a win (112 – 102) on this West coast swing and we all can thank Paul Pierce. Check out this stat line: 30 pts, 12-14 FG, 4-5 3FG, 7 reb, 5 asst in 42 minutes. (He also had 6 TOs, but who’s counting?) Pierce willed the Celts to victory over the Blazers, ala KG. It was that simple. This one didn’t start well. The C’s found themselves down 17 in the first half, but as my blood pressure rose, so did the Celtics defensive pressure. And unlike the Phoenix game, our shots were falling. Ray Allen – 19 pts (4-5 3FG), James Posey – 15 pts (3-5 3FG) and Eddie House - 11 pts (3-5 3FG) all had big offensive games.
