The Celtics rolled over Philly tonight, 100-85, for their 50th win of the season. We haven’t seen a 50 win season in these parts in 16 years. Times sure have changed since I was a strapping 19-year-old tearing up Boston in my sophomore year at Emerson College. Now I’m struggling to stay awake at 9:30 pm. The C’s could have put this one away in the first quarter when they jumped out to a 15-0 lead. But the Green screwed around for two-and-a-half quarters before slamming the door in the 3rd. The winning streak has reached 9 and the Celtics haven’t trailed at any point during their last 3 games. You could say they are kicking ass….
Oh yeah…Sam Cassell played tonight. He looked very rusty. (How’s that for expert analysis?)
