Out of Gas

All good things come to an end. And so has our perfect road trip. The Celtics lost a very winnable game tonight to the Hornets, 113-106. What made this game so frustrating was all the damn turnovers. 20 total, and 9 in the fourth quarter. The Celtics outshot New Orleans 55% to 50%, and outrebounded them 44-29. I can’t remember the last time we lost a game with those stats. Not to mention Rajon Rondo (23 pts, 7 asst, 4 stls) completely outplayed Chris Paul for the first 46 minutes of this game. But CP3 dropped 7 big points in the final two minutes. David West (37 pts) and some dude named Jannero Pargo (15 pts) absolutely killed the C’s. I’m not one to bitch about the refs (Celts - 26 fouls, N.O. – 21), but they missed several charges (Leon Powe got screwed on two) and were too quick to blow the whistle on some good defensive plays. Oh well…

  1. The C’s cost me some $$$ tonight.

  2. i agree the refs seemed ansy on some calls tonight…but the celtics cost themselves the game

can’t get mad at a 4-1 road trip..i believe 100% the celtics win that game if it was the first or second game of that road trip

that chris paul miracle throw up three was the dagger though…

  3. docs technical came at a bad time too…hornets caught up after that

  4. I only watched the first first half and some of the third quarter and it seemed to me that the the reffs were more on NH side. Powe took TWO great charges and was called for the foul…that was BS!! Rondo was getting man handled by CP3 he should of fouled out in the first half. D. West is a cry baby, after every shot that he missed he thought he should of got a foul call, what a f-in baby!! C’s were just tired from a long road tripp when they come to Boston the C’s will BLOW THEM OUT!!! I’m OUT.

  5. wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh stop crying for calls man everbody cries over games they should win but last thing i would do is blame the ref

  6. A date for Celtics fans to circle on their schedule … Fri Mar 28 … vs New Orleans.

A beauty of the NBA … there’s always another game to play!
