Why Posey Missed Monday
He’s a new Dad… a baby girl
“Seven pounds, 12 ounces, 28 ¼ inches,” Posey said proudly. “I had to text it to so many people that I know it by heart now.”
“It was sudden for the most part,” said Posey. “We were expecting [her to have the baby]Thursday. You know it’s probably going to come early, and that’s what it was.”
Posey said he was getting ready to come to the Garden for the game against the Sixers Monday night when he girlfriend called around 4 p.m. and told him doctors were going to induce labor. Posey called Celtics coach Doc Rivers and explained the situation.
“He told me it was the best thing to go,” said Posey

28 inches?!!??!!??!!??!?!??!??!?!?!? No wonder she came early, that girl had no place else to go. I would have evicted her at 22 inches.

Lot’s of babies… or rumored babies this year. Kendrick, Posey, the Paul rumor, and if I remember correctly Brandi Garnett will be having a baby in the coming months as well. And then of course, there is Big Baby.
