Its about time the Hall of Fame committee does the right thing with Dennis Johnson and puts him in. The announcement will come tonight before the NCAA Finals (guess who had UCLA-UNC in the office pool)… and I will be sorely disappointed if DJ’s name isn’t on the list. Honestly, I’m going to be disappointed either way… because he won’t be here to see it if he finally gets in.
I know the votes have already been cast… and there’s no amount of pleading anyone can do to change things. All I know is what I saw… which is Dennis Johnson doing the dirty work and playing some of the best perimeter defense in the NBA… at a time where the NBA talent level was at its peak. DJ played all the stars of the day… and he played them tougher than just about anyone. I hope tonight we finally get to announce that DJ is a Hall of Famer.

He does not deserve to be a Hall of Famer just because he is dead.
