Boooooring

There are 6 games left in the regular season… and the Celtics have everything all sewn up.  They’re easily going to finish with the best record in the league.  They might as well start preparing for the Atlanta Hawks… because the Pacers and Nets aren’t going to do anything to gain ground.

So that leaves virtually nothing to talk about.  Unless you want to talk about how rested the starters feel… which is the big story in the Herald and the Globe.  And let me just tell you… the slow days are when you get tidbits like this about Kevin Garnett

“I’m best at cleaning,” Garnett said. “My mom raised three very clean people. Oh, and where I come from, everybody knows how to cut grass, too. You get your masters in landscape by the time you’re 16.”

In reality, the fact that the guys feel fresh right now is great.  They’re healthy and ready to go.  I’ll be very happy with boring the rest of the way if it means the guys continue to stay fresh and healthy.  The last thing I need right now is breaking down how to compensate for losing a player.

Herald:  Pierce probably out tonight… maybe Rondo too  |  Enterprise News:  Best record doesn’t guarantee best result  | TwinCities.com:  Al Jefferson wouldn’t have been in shape for playoffs  |  Power Rankings:  #1 on ESPN… |  … and on SI

  1. I don’t think it’s good to give KG rest… it sounds like the 5 days off are getting to him… he might consider suicide if he doesn’t play someone soon…

  2. Maybe he can play a little 1 on 1 with Oden during his time off and welcome the fella into the NBA. ha ha. Jk. Rest is good.

  3. nothing but anti-jinx in this comment.. good karma. GOOOOOD karma.
