I will submit to you this: going 7 wasn’t all bad. A sweep would have had the Celtics sitting around for days. They’re working some stuff out…. and they’re not just sitting around doing nothing. There’s plenty of rest in between games…. so ultimately…. this is a good thing
I agree . It also gives them some playoff experiance together as a team. & it also reinforces the point D will Win games.

Redsarmy (or anyone else), do you know where to find a clip of the gesture KG gives with about 3 minutes left in the 3rd on the dunk from the pass from Rondo? Sports writers are saying it will earn Garnett a fine.

Congratulations Celtics on winning the series. This gets us one step closer to meeting in the finals. Even though my UCLA girlfriend and I don’t agree on anything having to do with college sports, we do agree on one thing: Go Lakers!

The Wizards Deshawn Stevenson was just fined $25K for making the throat-slash gesture.

Since when did Stevenson effect this situation? What he does or doesn’t do has no bearing on what happened in Game 7.
KG won’t (or shouldn’t) get fined for it.
