How Do We Distract LeBron?

This is a comment from ‘MA’ in our last post:

I’ll be there - 1 row behind Mommy’s Boy LeBron - screaming my brains out.

I wonder what I can do to distract him?

I think that’s an excellent question.  Let’s get some ideas.

  1. I say have a Deshawn Stevenson face print out(similar to the Bibby ones) and do that hand in face thing he does!

  2. Get a face print of his momma…

  3. I feel like the Momma face would motivate him. DeShawn might make him laugh.

What about a chant of “Momma’s Boy”?

  5. I like that

  6. That’s the problem with sitting directly behind a team - the players and coaches are always standing up and blocking the game. It wouldn’t be so bad behind the Celtics bench for obvious reasons, but there were plenty of times I wanted to tell Mo Cheeks to “sit your ass down.”

  7. i can’t believe it has come down to this, you guys exchanging ideas about how to distract Lebron. it doesnt matter what you do to try to distract him, its about who plays with mroe desire. it’s amazing how much the demeanor and mood of this place has changed since the beginning of the series. your arrogance and bravado were so evident, with you guys thinking that Lebron was going to go down quietly 0-4 or 1-3, from saying that Lebron was simply a bitch of the celtics, from saying that the Hawks were going to be the only team that the celts were going to struggle with from now on and so on. what happen to this place? i am even losing desire to come on here and argue with you guys. you guys are so pessimistic and negative, now desperately seeking any way to distract the cavs in game 5. whats next? are you guys going to go pray to your leprachaun to get the celts a win? you guys are no fun anymore.

  8. This Sacless guy is a joke. Trust me we still have the Swagger & the Series!

  9. no, you are a joke. if the celts really did have this series like you claim, you wouldn’t be discussing ways to try to distract Lebron. you would simply let your team go out there and run him out the court. but since you find the need to distract him, that tells me that you don’t think your team can finish him off without your distractions.

  10. Winning or not I’m always trying to find ways to distract other teams players thats what makes us great fans… but hey I don’t blame you or the rest of Cleveland.. You wouldn’t really know what real fans do or are.. now go on & feel free to go on with the rest of your day playing in traffic.

  11. yea, more than half of you guys weren’t even fans a year ago when your team was in the toilet. you guys became fans when kevin garnett was given to the celts by McChale, after seeing his beloved team go through 22+ years of no championships. what separated this franchise from all other franchises was winning championships. now they couldn’t muster one for 22 years and counting. mike bibby said it right when he said that you guys were bandwagon fans. he knows what’s up.

  12. Lebron will not lead his team past the Celtics. He is a speed-bump on the road to the Finals. This team has been a joy to watch all year and nothing anyone says about them or if they win or lose to Utah in the Finals will change that for me. Good guys in 7.

  13. I didn’t know the NBA introduced a consolation finals game Aingelives? Good luck with that…Cavs win by 1 …shot at the buzzer by the scary Eastern block guy…Il-GOW-skuss!

Cavs 38 C’s 37…god Eastern Conf. basketball is great! When does the WNBA start…maybe they can watch and learn how to shoot a mid-range jumper.

  14. Well said ‘Aingelives’. Just like to note that my pre-season prediction was Celts over Utah in 7.

How about you just hold up this: http://www.mostbeautifulman.com/athletes/wallyszczerbiak/pages/pic06.shtml

  15. Sacless you do realize that your beloved Cavs have never won a Championship!? And as for the Bandwagon thing… Its not true & its getting old, Come up with something better, But if you want to go there I will too.

In 2002-2003 (pre Lebron) the Cavs ranked 29th which is Last in attendance with an average of 11,496 in Home games.

In 2003-2004 (Lebron’s Rookie Year) The Cavs somehow jump to 9th with an average of 18,287 in Home Games.. So.. Hmm.. would you call that BandWagon Fans. I say yes.

Bring it on Sacless.. Celts in 6!!

  16. Enough with the bandwagon sackless. Even if the C’s were 16-65 this year I would still rather root for the green than the douchebags from cleveland. Did you notice your boy Lebron didn’t once act like a bitch on a meaningless foul while mom was in the audience.
