You think Baron Davis is regretting his move to the Clippers? He commited to sign there thinking Elton Brand was coming back… but its looking like he’s going to Philly for 5 years/$82 mil. Meanwhile, Corey Maggette is getting more than the MLE to go to Golden State. If you believe the analysis on TrueHoop, Maggette is about to get overpaid. Still nothing on Posey.

What an amazing, yet predictable, turn of events for the Clippers. Every Clippers fan felt weightless over the weekend and now they feel like they always have – like Clipper fans.

As for Brand over Garnett? Not for as long as Garnett can will our squad into playing it’s hardest. Brand’s numbers will be better but we’re not talking of individual performances. We’re talking about teams and winning games (something that the C’s did in bundles last year BTW).
So answer me this. What will you do about budding star Rondo? (b/c in my estimation Rondo will decimate Miller…) What will happen if Brand proves to be damaged goods? Who’s gonna spread the floor now that Korver is gone? The Sixers are now a nifty group but they don’t win next year. I am looking forward to playing them in the conference finals should they get that far though…
