I guess the Celtics are still pursuing Tyronn Lue. The Arizona Republic reports Lue is deciding between veteran minimum offers ($1.26 million) from Phoenix and Boston.
The main competition for Lue remains Boston, which also is believed to be offering a one-year veteran minimum deal worth $1.26 million. Suns center Shaquille O’Neal has called Lue, his friend and former teammate, to make a recruiting pitch, but Lue also is longtime friends with Boston star Kevin Garnett. Lue stays at Garnett’s Malibu home each summer for workouts.
The Suns made Lue their top free-agency target. They have a payroll limitation to offer only a minimum deal
Two reactions: I didn’t realize KG hangs out with Lue for summer workouts. That seems like an odd match. And Lue is the Suns TOP target? Really? Seems like KG and the Suns both set their standards pretty low.
I’ll take House over Lue and Cassell.

Don’t see the allure of Lue myself, either. I guess if House isn’t resigned, but other than that, no thanks.
Never liked Lue either.
I’ve read or heard that Lue and Billups are KG’s two best friends. Lue doesn’t thrill me either but Eddie wants a raise and added years and doesn’t want to ride the pine. I hope Pruitt is (good enough to be) the backup, but we’re going to have sign another PG either way. Lue seems to fit into the hole better at this point…
All I know is Danny seems to like him KG is his BFF Doc loves him from his Orlando Days. So there is a real chance of this guy coming to THE NBA CHAMPS (it’ll never get old)!!
Yeah I dont really see how this can be a bad thing, we could always use a vet backup PG and he is close with KG and Doc, he has some game still too so I’m not complaining
