Boston’s Homeless Thanks Kobe, Lakers

Newsday

I rarely have anything nice to say about the Lakers or Kobe Bryant. But we at Red’s Army want to personally thank them for feeding more than 40 women at a Boston homeless shelter this week. The food (California Love Salad – I know, it sounds like something off a prison menu) came courtesy a bet Mass. Governor Deval Patrick made with his west coast counterpart, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Free agency has slowed to a crawl. Other than Keyon Dooling’s sign and trade, Deron Williams’ extension, Ronny Turiaf leaving LA and CJ Miles offer sheet signing with OKC, there isn’t much news.

After the jump, check out some pics of PP and KG (along with their women) on the ESPY’s red carpet.

  1. Kevin has to be at least two feet taller than his wife, especially when she takes off those heels.

  2. convenient for him…

  3. May be a good cause and all, but the Lakers can still flat-out SUCK IT!!

    AHAHAHAHA! SUCK IT, YOU BASTARDS!

  4. I agree, LA can suck it. Thanks for helping us out

  5. Whoa!? I don’t care what he does with his money, buying good PR doesn’t impress me. Kobe is NOT a good person or teamate. I still hope he gets a career ending injury at the olympics.

Sorry for the harshness, but I had to counterbalance this Kobe love post.

  6. Did Kobe rape the 40 women before or after feeding them?
