That’s the question asked by Mizzle in the comments of our last post.
I never heard an announcement. I never saw anyone else mention it. So… did the Celtics just quietly name Ray co-captain? Or is there a typo on their roster?
Hopefully, a real journalist confirms this. I would… but… you know… the phone is way over there.
If it’s true, then congrats Ray.
What? Gotta be a typo, right?
I might be. You’d think they’d announce something like that.
I thought I read somewhere he was co captain last year.
It doesn’t make sense. If anyone should be co-captain with Paul it’s KG.

Don’t underestimate Ray’s leading ability. though Ray is not as “emotional intense” as KG, he does very good job showing the young players how to be professional. He is like a role model to every NBA player could have dreamed! Young stars like R.Lewis and R.Rondo have followed his path by going to games earlier to get more shooting practice.
How do you know they didn’t offer it to KG, but he turned it down. But, I do agree with the part, though Ray isn’t as intense as KG, he still does his fair share out on the court, he is an absolute professional, a role model to the younger players in the league, just as much as KG. Regardless of whether KG or Ray Allen is the co-captain, they both are equally deserving of the title.
