MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — The Memphis Grizzlies waived forward Darius Miles, who was trying to make a comeback after a two-year absence following knee surgery.
Miles was cut by the Boston Celtics in the preseason and signed with Memphis on Dec. 13. The 27-year-old also served a 10-game league suspension after his signing for violating the league’s drug policy.

Sorry, Darius. It’s nothing personal. You just didn’t play well enough in the preseason. Even Bill Walker and Patrick O’Bryant who played very well in the preseason aren’t getting any minutes here. Maybe you should call my old friend Kevin in Minnesota. He’ll sign anyone.

he did play some d and he’d be great for all those nights that TA isnt playing well. keep in mind that he was just returning from a long break when he was with the celts. his athleticism and energy could only help the celts right now

Last year at least one of the bigs made clutch shots near the end. The entire big three choked at the end and rest cannot be an excuse this time. Maybe should have kept Pruitt in at the end.
Has “father time” caught up with this team? Maybe Doc needs to give each of the big three a rotating day off to recharge their batteries
