Kobe Bryant Confuses NBA Players

player-poll

SI is out with a new NBA player poll:  Which opposing NBA player would you most like on your team.

Lebron is #1, at 32%.  Understandable.  He’s a freak.  He’s the best player on the planet right now.  And his best days are still ahead of him.

#2 is Kobe Bryant, at 13%.  The funny thing is, if you click the image above, you’ll see that Kobe finished 3rd in the “which player would you LEAST want on your team.”  NBA players can’t even figure out what to think about that guy.

KG is 4th on the list, tied with Chris Paul.  That’s how good KG is.  He’s in the tail end of his career and players STILL want him on their team.  Same with Nash.  Chris Paul probably should feel a little slighted.  I don’t understand why more players wouldn’t want him on their team.

  1. Players dislike Kobe I’m sure but they still do recognize that he is a damn good player, if not the best individual talent in the league. and people always want talent on their team, no matter how much of a deuche he is

  2. Where is Wade on that list?

  3. I’d rather have Wade than Kobe, for SURE.

  4. Dunkonu i agree completely. He is not getting enough respect for his MVP-type season in Miami. Sensational.

  5. This isnt suprising, there are a ton of players in the nba that worship kobe bryant and suck up to him all the time, and plenty of players that cant stand him…same thing goes for the fans, you either love or hate kobe bryant..

as far as wade as a teammate, I cant say Id want him more then the players on that list, and you cant tell me you actually think hes better then kobe bryant, and he certainly isnt any less selfish, self absorbed, hell he probably gets more whistles from the refs then kobe..hes annoying

  6. Off subject here…but why is orlando ahead of us on all of the power rankings around the web? …we have a slightly better record…lead the season series..etc etc….no biggie, just doesnt make sense..lets see if orlando proves it tmrw night…wouldnt shock me, celtics arent playing that great right now(aha I answered my own question) ;-)

  7. The Difference between Wade is he doesn’t check for blood everytime someone touches him unlike Kobe and especially Lebron.

  8. THANK you G4L. Bron’s a beast, but he always checks for blood and overdramitizes when he gets fouled-still the best on earth though. But Wade is the toughest with AI a close 2nd.

  9. Wade is probably my favorite non-Celtic; tough, talented, can score AND pass, but doesn’t come off as a cocky bitch like LeBron. And he just comes off as a better all around person; I’ve heard numerous stories of him connecting with less-than-fortunate fans, especially kids (there was a story today about how he gave his jersey to a disabled kid at the Heat game on Monday, and apparently he and the kid had struck up a relationship). Its just nice to see a superstar who isn’t all about himself.

  10. Come on Wade is 27 years old…. about the hit his prime. No offense to Nash b/c I love what he brings to the table but hes aging and you know he doesn’t have a ton left in the tank. He’s going to be 35 next year.

  11. F’ the Poll! I take my BIG 3 and keeping them – Blood in Blood Out!

  12. scrubs will vote for kobe not caring whether they see the ball or not, because a ring might help them out in a pay day..which is why he is high on the list

rookies or veterans might feel differently, which is why he is high on the least valued list

i would have guessed paul would have been ahead of kg…after thinking about it his intensity is unmatched

  13. Lol @ wade being tough
How? and yes he does check for blood if someone breathes on him…You people dont hate him cause the celtics havent been in a series with him yet….so tough he needed a wheel chair for a shoulder injury (hey at least PP, it was his knee for chrisssakes!)
Wade isnt as good as kobe, is actually more selfish and self absorbed, im tellin ya

  14. Ever have a serious shoulder injury? Any body movement can aggravate it.

Why do people have such a problem with wheelchairs? If I’m paying someone in the neighborhood of $15 million a year, I’m sitting his ass on a wheelchair to prevent making a potentially bad injury worse.
