Please Make It Stop!!!!!

LeBron James

Are there any other storylines in the NBA worth covering? Or how about the entire world of sports?

In our world – the present – the defending champs are gearing up for tonight’s game with the Warriors. Newsflash – Golden St. is not good. They added Jamal Crawford (for Al Harrington) but he didn’t help much in their last game – a 24-point beatdown by the Wizards. Gun-totin Stephen Jackson remains the main offensive threat, along with Corey Maggette. Andris Biedrins is averaging 13.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. Boston is a 12-point favorite but keep this in mind (I’m talking to you Jester) – they are 2-4 ATS in their last six games at home.

Here’s some information for any fans who want to send condolences to the Heinsohn family. The Celtics are planning a moment of silence before tonight’s game.

  1. It would be pretty funny if Lebron came to the C’s… not that its going to happen but it would be a slap in the face to NY.

  2. that means they are due right?

  3. That’s because LeBron has no regard for human life.

  4. LeBron does not need NY to be a global icon….he already is one. He could play in OKC and still be the biggest star.

  5. John – I remember you saying you played at Emerson….. I don’t know if you still keep up with the program, but I saw them play the other day and in my opinion Jeremy Shannon is the best D3 player I have ever seen. Have you seen him play?

  6. Seriously, can we worry about the 2010 free agent class in 2 years when they’re actually free agents?

I said the same thing when i saw that headline on

How about where will Texiera or CC land? Not LeBron fucking 2 years from now…oye vay

  7. Tim,

I’m still very close to the team. We’re a pretty tight group, actually. This kid Shannon is taking it to another level this year. A couple of kids graduated last year, so he’s playing a bigger role… and clearly taking advantage.

He was just named the leagues player of the week. He dropped two buzzer beaters and had 42 in the last game before the break. Nasty stuff. When did you see him?

  8. As for the LeBron stuff…. he’s feeding this as much as anyone. I mean… he played last night in “Big Apple” sneakers,124642

  9. Saw him put up 42 and 9 assists at Babson in a loss. He would have had 50 if he hadn’t picked up a Tech in the second half (then the coach sat him for 5 minutes).

    He was simply sensational.
