Seriously… 6 Minutes?

Just curious, Doc Rivers, as to why Gabe Pruitt only got 6 minutes of burn while Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo played a combined 95 minutes?

I don’t know if it would have changed the result.  And I’m not hanging this loss on Doc.  But when Tony Allen is out… 6 minutes from Gabe Pruitt (and only 17 from Eddie House, for that matter) just seem to stick out like a sore thumb in the box score.

  1. Doc’s handling of the rotation is starting to resemble the aimless management that defined his early seasons with the team.

Maybe they’re planning on D-League for Pruitt if they manage to pull Marbury, instead of the logical move of eating Scal’s salary.

  2. When you point the finger, there are 3 pointing back at you. lol..Maybe a healthy dose of Bill Walker and his young legs would help. Send O’Bryant’s ass down to the D-League to get some burn. Even if God forbid Perk went down, O’Bryant isn’t getting enough minutes to be considered a worthy back-up…Anyways, as I said last night, I have faith that they will come together as a team and get right. I also have faith that D.Ainge will grab a big-man or Marbury to inject some much needed life into this team.

  3. It is extremely frustrating watching this team lose games because they lose their focus over bad officiating.

But let’s be straight here. The problem IS the Officiating. I’m not saying that’s what is losing these games for the Celts, but it’s been a HUGE distraction in every single game. It’s been absolutely atrocious ALL year. But over the last 2 weeks, it’s been demonstrably horrendous. I wanted to be at that game last night so that I could throw a 24 ounce bucket of Coke at Dick Bavetta’s head. Absolutely ridiculous. All of it.

  4. Wasn’t gabe a +8 when he was in as well? rest the freaking starters. They are burning out in the 4th

  5. Gabe played well, and he actually made some shots and looked pretty comfortable out there. I don’t get it either.
