Perk Out A Week

Not-so-good news regarding Kendrick Perkins. Here’s the latest from’s Jess Camerato:

Celtics center Kendrick Perkins will miss at least the next three games with a shoulder injury. After missing Sunday’s game, he is inactive for Monday’s game against the Toronto Raptors and is not expected to play until after next Saturday’s game against the New Jersey Nets. Neither Perkins nor Raptors starting center Jermaine O’Neal will play on Monday night.

No word yet on Pierce’s status. We’re also not sure if Tony Allen will play. Who knows – maybe we’ll see Bill Walker or J.R. Giddens on the court. The Raptors will also be without Jose Calderon (sore hamstring).

Speaking of injuries, Kobe and D-Wade collided during the final seconds of last night’s game. Turns out Kobe needed 4 stitches. Here are a couple pics…

  1. Supposedly Walker’s knee got banged up in Utah (DLeague)…O’Bryant maybe getting some burn tonight..?

  2. Just a thought experiment since the Celtic wives came out to play tonight (do we have pics of the Celtic wives? They might be better to look at.)

Take a step back and look at the Celtics play as a non-Celtic fan. What do you see? Forget last year. Forget expectations and individual history. What do you see?

    I don’t like what I see.

  3. I see terrible play, erratic play, tired play over the past three weeks. I really don’t think anyone around this site is letting their love for the Celtics get in the way of criticism. But we aren’t going to jump off a bridge either….

  4. Rondo!!!!! Why do you tip it out towards three point land like that?
